In 2022, I lost one of my best friends to a hunting accident. In 2023, a memorial turkey hunt was started in his honor by myself and Brad Clark. On 04/29/23, the 1st Annual Joe Miller Memorial Turkey Hunt was held. We hosted 32 teams made up of 64 hunters. A total of 14 birds were harvested that year. In 2024, we even had more success, as we had 80 teams enter and a total of 30 birds harvested. Each year, along with the hunt, we get hats made to raise funds for prizes and to help with associated costs. This year, we had one extra Richardson 112 in Bottomland Camo left over with the patch from the hunt on the front. Brad and I have been wondering what to do with it and then a buddy of mine, Matthew Franks, sent me the Category 10 Honky-Tonk Hat Wall. We immediately knew this was another perfect way to honor our good buddy, Joe. I can promise you it means a great deal to everyone involved for this hat to make the wall, as we all listened to “Hurricane” on repeat while shooting rays.
