What is Category 10?

Category 10 is a 67,000-square-foot bar, restaurant, and entertainment venue inspired by Luke Combs and operated by Opry Entertainment Group. It features five distinct spaces across multiple floors, including bars, music stages, a bourbon bar, a rooftop deck, and a sports bar.

Why is it called Category 10?

The name is inspired by Luke Combs’ breakout hit “Hurricane,” symbolizing an off-the-charts experience and tribute to his fans.

What are Category 10’s hours of operation?

Where is Category 10 located?

It’s located on 2nd Avenue in downtown Nashville, in the former Wildhorse Saloon space.

What kind of music and performances can I expect?

Live country music dominates, with performances from rising stars and occasional surprise sets. There are four stages, including the massive Hurricane Hall with a 1,500-person capacity.

What are the age restrictions at Category 10?

Before 8 PM: All ages welcome
After 8 PM: 21+ only

Do you serve food and beverages?

Yes! We have a full menu of Southern-Carolina-inspired dishes and signature cocktails.

Is there a bag policy?

While not guaranteed, Luke Combs has made appearances and may perform or host events occasionally.

Line Dancing FAQ’s

Are there line dancing lessons?

Yes! Free line dancing classes are offered Thursday through Sunday at Hurricane Hall on the first floor.

Are line dance lessons free?

Yes—lessons are 100% free.

When do line dance lessons take place?

Line dance lessons are offered most weeks, Thursday through Sunday.

Are all ages welcome?

All ages are welcome before 8 PM. After 8 PM, the venue is 21+ only.

Do I need dance experience?

Not at all. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a total beginner, everyone’s invited to hit the floor.

Do you offer private line dancing lessons?

We do not offer private line dancing lessons, but we do offer VIP tables in Hurricane Hall! You can contact our VIP team by filling out the form on our VIP page.
