Brooke M.’s Hat: Q8

This hat belonged to my grandfather, Jim Anderson, who passed from cancer in 2019. He was my hero and the best father figure I could have asked for. He retired from the Navy and then continued to open his own well drilling company where he worked 6-7 days a week to provide for me and my sister and his great grandbabies, right up until he was put on hospice care. While Luke’s album is about fathers and sons, so many of the songs make me cry thinking about my Pa. This hat means so much to me and it means even more to be able to look up and see it on the wall proudly displayed for everyone to see.
