Gillian S.’s Hat: P6

This hat is special to me because it gave me the opportunity to custom make something that represents something very close to my heart, App Builds a Home (ABAH). ABAH is a partnership between Appalachian State University and Watauga County Habitat for Humanity. We help to build a home each year by raising funds and organizing volunteers. This organization is full of great people and has been a highlight of my college career. In high school, I only discovered App State existed because of Luke Combs, and now I am a senior at App, engaged to the love of my life who I met in Boone, involved in an amazing organization, and the happiest I’ve ever been in my life!
