Lauren P.’s Hat: R3

Pateras Transport is a family-run interstate and local transport business owned by my husband’s dad and uncle. It has been operating for 40 years in the farming area of Werribee, Victoria, home to the Pateras family since early 1900’s. My husband, Dion, drives interstate in Australia for the family business in a Kenworth 659 & Legen SAR. The family business is close to his heart, and so is country music. We married this year in February with “Forever After All” as our first dance song. We planned on travelling to Nashville during November 2024, however, plans have changed, as we will be welcoming our first baby to the world early 2025. Luke is mine and Dion’s favorite country music artist, and his recent album Fathers and Sons has hit close to home for Dion, soon-to-be first-time father. This is the best 30th birthday present to Dion, hoping we can travel to Nashville one day as a family and visit Category 10, as it will mean so much to see the family name in Luke’s Bar.
