I received this hat at a small “Semper Fi & America’s Fund” event at my neighborhood organization, the “Second Street Irish Society” in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The respect for those serving/who served is strong through my club, as a number of members have served (including the member our club who runs these Fund events we hold). I know Luke shares that strong appreciation for service members too, especially through one of my favorite songs “Even Though I’m Leaving.”
Fast forward to July 29th, 2023, at my hometown Eagles stadium, where me and my three cousins saw Luke in concert. Being my first ever Luke Combs concert, wearing this hat and having a once in lifetime experience shared with my cousins is something I’ll never forget. I also ran into some of my Irish Society friends and shared memories with them too. This hat isn’t a “baseball” or a “trucker” hat that Luke sports daily, but the connection and story I felt was worth sending in.
