Five Things You Might Not Know About Category 10

Category 10 is on a roll. We’ve officially opened our doors on the Las Vegas Strip, and our Nashville location just took home Best Place to Dance in The Nashville Scene’s annual reader poll for the second year in a row.

Whether you’re exploring bars in Nashville or planning a trip to Las Vegas, here are a few things you might not know about the Home of Combs.

CATEGORY 10 HAS a kickass line dancing floor.

No matter the location, you’ll find a dance floor built for your whole crew. In Nashville, back in the Wildhorse Saloon days, this floor saw its fair share of dancin’ boots—and we’re keeping that legacy alive. In Las Vegas, we’re kicking up our heels right on The Strip with plenty of room to dance the night away.

Our expert Line Dance teams know how to keep the party going, breaking down moves for beginners and calling out hits for the pros. And with Nashville taking home Best Place to Dance for the second year in a row, we’ve got even more reason to celebrate. Now grab your boots and come dance with us.

CATEGORY 10’S NAME IS A REFERENCE TO LUKE’S SMASH HIT.

Luke Combs stormed onto the scene with “Hurricane,” a breakout hit that went 8x platinum, topped the charts at No. 1, and stayed on the charts for 30 straight weeks. So, when it came time to name his bar, we knew we had to go big. The strongest a hurricane gets is Category 5… so we doubled it. Category 10 is off the charts, just like Luke.

And just like the song, Category 10 has made its mark, growing from our first location in Nashville to one of the newest country bars in Vegas. And with more new locations on the horizon, you can hold on to your hats—we’re just getting started!

CATEGORY 10 HAS A ROOFTOP WITH ONE HELL OF A VIEW.

Who says the party needs to stay on the first floor? We take the party to the top at Category 10’s rooftop bar, The Eye. From the riverfront in Nashville to the bright lights of the Las Vegas Strip, we’re serving up some pretty unbeatable views. We’ve even got a prime spot to see CMA Fest in Nashville and pro races in Las Vegas, making this rooftop a must-stop among downtown Nashville bars and the Las Vegas Strip.

THERE IS A COUNTRY SPEAKEASY INSIDE CATEGORY 10.

Luke loves a good whiskey and a great country song, so we built him a place for both.  Inside Category 10, you’ll find The Still – a bar within a bar inspired by Luke’s love for whiskey and songwriting. Whether you’re visiting Nashville or Las Vegas, The Still is the perfect place to kick back and enjoy a good pour.

LUKE FANS FROM ALL OVER HAVE HUNG THEIR HATS HERE…LITERALLY.

In both of our Category 10 locations, you’ll find hats from Luke himself and fans from around the world. Each with a story of their own: good times and tough, wins and losses, moments that make you laugh and cry…just like a great country song. Check out our Nashville Digital Hat Wall to find a hat, read its story, and tip yours to the fans who helped build this place. (Vegas Digital Hat Wall coming soon!)
