Category 10 Brings the Holiday Magic, Onscreen and Onsite

  • By Lane Vaughn

This Holiday season, Cat 10 hits YOUR TV SCREEN.

Hallmark Channel’s got a new original Christmas movie on their annual Countown to Christmas lineup—and Category 10 plays a starring role.

“A Grand Ole Opry Christmas” premieres Saturday, November 29 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel, and next day on Hallmark+. The film follows Gentry Wade (Nikki DeLoach) as she steps back into her late father’s country music legacy, but in the present day she’s also the General Manager of Category 10—which means several key scenes were filmed right here at Luke’s place.

You’ll spot sister duo Tigerlily Gold performing on the Honky-Tonk stage while Nikki has a scene at the main bar. You’ll see Nikki serving drinks on Cat 10’s massive rooftop, and later, a business meeting shot inside The Still, Cat 10’s craft bourbon bar—all real spaces you can visit anytime.

In the film, Tigirlily Gold performs on Category 10’s Honky-Tonk stage. Spot the famous Honky-Tonk hat wall behind them!
Actresses Nikki DeLoach and Sharon Lawrence film a scene at the main floor bar in Category 10.

A Holiday Kickoff, Country Style.

When it came time to officially kick off Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas, there was no better place to celebrate than Category 10. Tigirlily Gold, Mickey Guyton, Drew Baldridge, and Forest Blakk hit the stage, while Hallmark favorites—including Lacey Chabert, Jonathan Bennett, Nikki DeLoach, and Sharon Lawrence—hit the dance floor. We also caught up with the Hallmark stars on the red carpet, where they pulled rapid-fire holiday questions straight from a pair of our Merlot boots (you can grab some for yourself in store at Cat 10 or online!)

EXPERIENCE THE MAGIC IN PERSON.

After tuning in on November 29, come stand (or dance!) in the very spots seen onscreen—from the main floor to the rooftop bar to The Still. Whether you’re a Hallmark holiday fan or a country music lover, you can experience the film’s magic right here at Category 10 Nashville.

Tune in November 29 at 8/7c on Hallmark Channel, or stream next day on Hallmark+.
